Tips to Stay Motivated with the Help of TAPA Institute

Work For IT

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work” –Thomas Edison

Studying for your CPA and CIA exams takes a lot of time and dedication. That is why we here at TAPA Institute will go above and beyond to help you stay on track to study for your exam. Our tutoring services will help to give you the extra motivation you may be lacking to study for and pass your exam.

If you are studying on your own, however, and find it difficult to stay motivated, here are some tips to keep in mind:

1.      Think about how important your goal is!

Always remember why you are working towards your goal of obtaining your certification. Taking the time to remember why you are studying so hard will make it easier to keep going.

2.      Repeat affirmations!

Affirmations can empower you and ignite motivation. Say a few positive statements to yourself in the morning or before you study to help motivate yourself.

3.      Study with friends!

If you know of someone else studying for their certification exam, ask if they would like to study together. Studying with someone else will make the entire preparation experience seem less isolating. If you can’t find a study partner, our tutors here at TAPA Institute will work one-on-one with you and make sure you feel motivated.

4.      Stay persistent!

When studying, it is always good to have a routine. Routines help to keep you organized and on track to success. By staying persistent with your routine, you will feel much more prepared when exam day comes around.

By following one or more of these tips, we hope that you find the motivation to continue working hard even when you do not want to. Here at TAPA Institute we know that in the end becoming a CPA or CIA is totally worth it.
