How to Single-Task with TAPA Institute
Have you ever heard the phrase, “Slow and steady wins the race?” Then you already know that sometimes focusing on one goal at a time is more productive than working on several tasks at once. Multitasking often leads to inferior work and poor results. At TAPA Institute, we train you to focus on one task at a time - reducing stress and improving productivity. When studying for your certification exam, there are two techniques to master:
Chunking: Chunking involves setting aside portions of the day to specifically focus on one task at a time. This technique eliminates constant jumping from one task to another. Chunking also saves time because large parts of the day are spent with greater focus on one task, helping to complete them faster.
Prioritizing Tasks: If you find yourself feeling like you must multitask because there is too much to do, you may have to temporarily cut out some tasks from your schedule that are not necessary. This leaves you scheduled to focus on the important tasks you can complete instead.
Single tasking is a time-saver and a good habit to build. At TAPA Institute our teaching methods encourage anyone studying for certification exams to do so one concept at a time.
